fae
the faerie realm is home to several different types of fae, some of whom have crossed over into this one. it is a world hidden from ours and only those of fae blood are able to move freely between the two. deeply connected to nature, they will avoid large cities at all cost and find it very difficult if not impossible to live in areas so far removed from the natural world.
abilities
✨glamouring - a gift that every fae possesses, it allows them to alter others' perception of themselves. that is to say that it allows them to appear as human while in our world. by default they attune themselves to whatever the ideal of beauty is at the moment in time they are here to in an attempt to blend in even more.

✨realm walking - simply put, it is the abiliy to move between various planes of existence. it's what allows the fae to travel from their world to this one and back again.

✨ longevity - while faeries live much, much longer than most beings they are by no means immortal and will eventually meet a natural death. despite their enhanced healing capabilities, they can be gravely injured and even killed.

it should be noted that many faeries possess another ability or two in addition to the ones listed above and they are often, but not always, unique to their specific species.
